Nails of the day
I have always been a lover of more neutral nail colours, mainly nudes and pinks. I found this beautiful peach shade from Barry M, which surprisingly is my first nail varnish purchase from them. At only £2.99 it is such a bargain! Its really pretty and stands out whilst also looking delicate and sophisticated, which is how I love my nails to be. I really would recommend this colour to anyone looking for a light summery shade as a variation from the standard nude colours!
What do you think? Do you have any new shades you love?

MAC Costa Chic: The perfect lipstick shade for Summer
Its a frost lipstick, which isn't usually my favourite type of MAC lipsticks as I find this a little bit drying but I couldn't resist the gorgeous colour! Its a pinky coral shade with slight gold undertones, which I think is perfect for spring and summer but wouldn't look the best in winter. I tend to find that with this lipstick I need to rub it into my lips with my finger to get the best look, and if I moisturize my lips before I apply it, it gives a much better effect.
What do you think? Have you tried any new MAC lipsticks lately, or is there any new summery products I should try?

Outfit! H & M Shirt
I went shopping a couple of days ago and as the weather has been beautiful recently, I wanted to buy a few summer pieces to renew my wardrobe! I absolutely love collared shirts at the moment, and picked this sleeveless one up in H & M! It has a beautiful lace detail collar in a bronzed gold colour, which adds really simple detailing! I really like the slightly off-white colour of the shirt and the silky fabric, which makes it look much more expensive than it was! At £14.99 I think it was a great bargain! I teamed it with a pair of blue jeans, tan handbag, gold and white bracelet and gold beaded sandals!

Wish List
As it's my birthday in a couple of weeks, it got me thinking about my current wish list...
1. Laura Mercier Finishing Brush
2. MAC Lipstick - Watch Me Simmer
3. Topshop Make-Up Bag
4. Dogeared Reminder Angel Wings Bracelet
5. NARS Blush Bronzer Trio
7. Tophop Animal Petal Scarf
I used to have the Laura Mercier finishing brush before I lost it and haven't got round to replacing it yet! I absolutely loved it and definitely miss it as one of the staple brushes in my make-up bag. I find it perfect for naturally blended bronzers and blushes.
I adore coral coloured lipsticks at the moment especially this one by MAC, from the Shop MAC Cook MAC collection, in the shade 'Watch Me Simmer'. I love the formula of MAC lipsticks and can't wait to get my hands on this gorgeous shade.
I never get round to buying a new make-up bag, however, I am in desperate need after having my current one for ages and I love the studded detail and pastel coral/pink colour on this one!
Next up is the beautiful bracelet from Dogeared. I love the design of this bracelet, and along with the other ones in the make a wish range, it it is beautifully delicate and pretty! This one is from ASOS and they also have a range of others there too which are just as nice.
When I saw this NARS blush bronzer trio I was amazed! At only £39.00 it has three of the nicest NARS products in one easy transportable case to make for a flawless complexion! In the set is the Orgasm Blush, Albatross Highlighting Blush Powder and Laguna Bronzing Powder.
The eyeshadow palette is from Chanel, in the colour 'spices', is gorgeous and I think it will go nicely with my complexion with a mixture of coral and pinks perfect for this time of year! Finally, I love this scarf from Topshop - its pretty and has a nice collection of colours, including lavander which I love at the moment!
What's on your wish list? Do you love any of these products too?

My Favourite Spring Nail Varnishes
Following my last post on my favourite fashion pieces in the shops this spring, I thought I would show my most loved nail polishes this season!
I love this coral colour from Rimmel and the more I wear it the more I love it! Initially, I wanted a more pastel peach colour but I went for this instead. The colour is apricot punch, and it has a fruity smell once its dried, which I have to say, I find really odd but doesn't take away from the lovely spring colour!
My next favourite is this pale lavender colour from Nails Inc. There are loads of lovely pastel colours from Nails Inc. but this is one of my favourites. There are also a few lovely ones from the new Revlon range.
Finally, these Chanel spring colours are on my nail varnish wish list - if only I could afford to get my hands on them! Out of the three, my number one choice has to be the pastel peach - I am really loving this colour at the moment.
What do you think? What are your favourite nail colours for this season?

My Spring Favourites!!
The spring weather is finally here and it means its time to buy some new pretty outfits!
Here are a few of my favourite pieces and trends this season...
Jacket: Topshop
Here are a few of my favourite pieces and trends this season...
Jacket: Topshop
Bag: Mulberry
Shirts: Zara
Jeans: Zara
Shoes: Topshop
Skirt: Zara
Nail Varnish: Nails Inc.
I love the style of the topshop jacket, it is a great mix between smart and casual with a lose fit and blazer style lapels. The colour is so pretty too - perfect for spring!
I looove embellished collars on shirts so the sequined one from Zara caught my eye as soon as I saw it, and the colour is so delicate and lovely. Floral prints are in this spring and the shirt from Zara is just beautiful! The peter pan collar is also really cute and the sleeves are perfect in this weather.
Choosing my favourite coloured jeans was difficult as I love them all at the moment, but these baby pink satin ones from Zara are gorgeous, girly and go with loads of outfits. The skirt is also from Zara, and again, with a different floral print and bright colours it looks perfect now.
I think both of the pairs of heels are to die for in these beautiful and girly pastel shades. The only problem is that I would struggle to keep them clean, but they would look lovely! The nail varnish, in the colour Haymarket would brighten up these outfits and help complete the look.
I could pick so many pieces from Zara and Topshop this season in floral, pastel and Aztec prints.
What do you think - what are your favourite spring trends?

Fake Bake Flawless Tan
I have really pale skin naturally, which most of the time I love, however, when I feel I need a bit of a tanned glow the product I use is Fake Bake Flawless tan.
My friend recommended this to me, and since I tried it I have also been recommending it to all of my friends - who love it too!
I used to be quite dubious of fake tanning products as I didn't want them to be too orange or streaky and stuck with Rimmel instant tan but I wanted to try a more longer lasting one. This tan is great as it tans instantly when you apply, which is useful for before a night out, but it also develops more overnight if you want a darker tan and lasts for a few days. It washes off a little bit in the shower too which means you never look streaky or uneven as this definitely helps to make it more natural looking. I also find that the colour is great, it is similar to my natural suntan, which is quite golden and definitely isn't too orange!
This tan comes in a bottle with a separate attachment for spraying, as well as gloves and a tanning mitt. I think this is great as it ensures you get the best looking tan and no horrible bright orange hands!
You spray the tan onto the mitt and apply to the body in small circular motions, this mitt is really soft too which is great! As it shows up on the skin instantly it means that your really unlikely to miss a spot, and as it washes off a little when you shower it evens out the tan leaving it really natural looking!
I would love to try the rest of the FakeBake collection. I am going to buy the body polish and tan enhancing lotion this weekend so I will update on these products too! I would also love to try the airbrush tan but this is a little but more expensive, so maybe that will be next on my list to experiment with, but at the moment this has to be my favourite tanning product! This product only costs £20 and has lasted me so long compared to other brands I have used, so I definitely think it is worth a try.
Has anyone else tried the FakeBake range, what do you think?

Valentina de Valentino Perfume
I thought I would share my favourite perfume at the moment. I got this recently and I think its such a unique scent!
This is a very floral/fruity perfume whilst also being quite delicate, and I think it smells quite expensive too! I think it is a mixture between girly and sophisticated and the apparent notes feature bergamot, white truffle, white flowers, strawberry, cedar, amber and vanilla.
Aside from the gorgeous smell, the bottle is beautiful too! I got mine in a set, with some lovely body lotion, which is really smoothing and long-lasting and comes in a bottle of similar design to the perfume. The box was also lovely, and has a potential use as a jewellery or decorative box. The only downside to this perfume, which I think is quite important, is that is has no lid, and I would worry if I packed it in my suitcase to take away with me!
At the moment, this is my new favourite perfume (I do change it frequently!) and would recommend it as it is unique and smells beautiful!
What do you think? Does anyone else have love perfume?

Outfit!
I spent the afternoon with Friends in London yesterday and thought I would write about my outfit for the day!
I wrote a post about my new Topshop bag on Friday and here I teamed it with my Topshop Ambush boots! I know the colours are slightly different but I think they compliment each other nicely and they both go with every outfit! The boots are my footwear of choice at the moment as they are soooo comfortable and stylish and I love the colour, the only downside is that the side zips often come unzipped after a while of wearing them!
The jeans I am wearing are Topshop Moto Leigh Supersoft jeans. I think these are great as they are really light wear and a nice bright blue colour! I hate jeans that stretch or get bigger when you wear them and these don't do that which is great!
My black chiffon shirt is from Zara and it is my favourite piece in this outfit!
The gold studded detail on the collar makes the shirt stand out and is what I love most about it! It gets gradually longer at the back which I find quite flattering, it is also really well made and the material is lovely! I am also wearing a black vest underneath, again from Zara, and I would recommend these to everyone! If your looking for one, these are excellent - and cheap! They fit perfectly are a really smooth material that doesn't go out of shape at all after you've worn it!
I know this outfit is quite boring, but I think it works well together and is so easy to wear!

Topshop Bowling Bag
My most recent purchase and I loveeee it so I thought I would share it with you!
This bag is new in Topshop this week, I saw it on the website and as soon as I saw it was avaliable at my nearest shop I went to have a look and couldn't resist!
Firstly, I love the shape of it, it fits everything I need into it with loads of room left, but I don't think it looks too big on my arm.
I also love the detailing on the bag; the luggage tag, zip on the side, cross-body strap, studs on the underneath and gold metal detailing. I think it makes the bag look much more expensive than it is (its only £36!!) and I have had lots of comments saying this! The inside has the usual useful pockets and is lined with a cream material whilst the outside looks like real leather!
I think its a great practical purchase as it will last ages and the colour means it will go with every outfit!

The pictures make the bag look slightly more orange toned than it is - I wish it was this colour- to match my Topshop Ambush tan coloured boots but it still compliments them nicely! |

17 Mirror Shine On Lipstick
I have been looking for a new nude lipstick and came across 17 Mirror Shine On Lipstick in the colour Beehive. The colour is on the pink side of nude which I find suits my quite pale skin and looks really natural on the lips.
This lipstick feels more like a lipbalm on the lips which is good as it isnt too glossy, sticky or matte. It glides on the lips so smoothly and it is easy to wear, and can be applied quickly if in a hurry! If your looking for a really pigmented nude lipstick this isn't the one for you as the colour is quite light, if you apply more layers it comes out stronger.
The only downside to this is that it doesn't last too long on the lips. However, with a few re-applications throughtout the day, I find it to be the perfect natural looking lipstick.
One more downside to this lipstick is the packaging. The colour and material make it look really cheap, especially compared to the other ranges of 17 lipsticks and the it doesn't feel too secure when you close it, however, I think this could be justified by the price. The smell is also not as nice as most lipsticks or balms but I think the look overshadows this.
I would definitely recommend this as an every day, easy to wear nude lipstick - perfect to finish off a natural make-up look!
You can buy this lipstick from Boots for £4.59 and I am looking forward to trying out some more of the colours.
