Here is an outfit of the day from my recent visit to Madrid to see my parents. We went out for a nice meal, and as it is still so hot and sunny in the evenings, this is what I wore! I bought this dress while I was out there, I just couldn't resist the gorgeous electric blue colour as this is something I have been looking for for a while. I also love the light silky material and the floaty design because it's perfect for the sunshine and heat.

The bag is my new staple accessory, its the perfect size for me to fit in all my things - I always carry so much around! I think the colour is really versatile so it will go with loads of my outfits.

Tomorrow I am back to Madrid again to make the most of the Spanish sunshine this summer, although I am going to be doing some dissertation work while I'm there! I will also be spending some time with my family and boyfriend, enjoying the food and visiting the sights (and shops!). I am thinking of doing a little holiday photo diary too while I am there!!

I hope everyone's having a lovely summer!

Outfit of the Day

Jacket -  Miss Selfridge
Top  -  Zara
Scarf – Topshop
Jeans – Topshop
Bag – Topshop
So, the weather is back to its usual gloominess and dull skies in the U.K and the beautiful sunny days seem to have sadly come to an end for the time being! Just as everyone else, I have been enjoying the past few days of sun, having barbeques and spending my days outside. Now, even though it is still quite warm, it is back to jacket and jeans weather and I thought I would do another outfit of the day post!
I recently bought this jacket from Miss Selfridge to replace my Zara Trench Coat, which had got me through most of the cooler weather. I think this style of jacket is great for spring and summer in the U.K as the temperature can be quite unpredictable. The light beige colour also makes it great for this time of year for me as it brightens up most of my outfits.
Leigh jeans from Topshop have to be up there with my favourite style of jeans as I find them so comfortable and easy to wear. They are really lightweight which, again, is perfect for this warmer weather when it’s not sunny enough for bare legs. I also love the baby pastel blue colour as they are colourful and bright but still manage to go with so many other colours which makes them perfect for me.
I have had the Topshop scarf for a little while now after posting it in a wishlist and I still love it! I never usually wear purple, but the scarf stood out to me so much and I bought the Zara t-shirt recently to go with it! I think the colours go well together and the outfit overall is simple, yet summery and really comfortable and easy to wear!
I Just want to say a big hello to all of my followers (new and old) - I really do love reading and discovering all of your blogs! I hope everyone is having a really great week - I would love to hear what everyone else has been getting up to!

Summer OOTD

Shirt: New Look
Shorts: H&M
Sandals: From Spain
Bag: Topshop

The sun has finally come out again, after weeks of miserable cold wind and rain in Sheffield, so I thought I would do an outfit of the day post! I bought these floral shorts from H & M a couple of weeks ago for £14.99, not thinking I would be able to get them out until I was on holiday in a few weeks! They are made of a really light chiffon material which is really cooling and perfect for hot days spent outside. I love the print on them as they will go with so many of my bright tops and shirts! Here I decided to team them with a black shirt with a dipped hem at back, my black sandals and my trusty topshop bowling bag! I also think they would be nice for a summer night out.

I hope everyone is enjoying the sunshine and has a lovely week!

Wish List: Orange

Necklace - Accessorize £16
Cami Top - Topshop £24
Scarf: Topshop £16
Jeans- Topshop £38
Jacket - Zara £59.99
Nail Polish - Essie £9.95
Shoes - Topshop £65
I am absolutely loving the colour orange at the moment, in all shades and styles - so here is my current outfit wishlist!
I think Leigh jeans from Topshop are perfect for this time of year as they are quite lightweight yet not too much like leggings. They are also really flattering and I love them in this colour! I think they will go perfectly with a plain colour T-shirt, such as white or grey. I also think this scarf is fab, it has a delicate Aztec print with different shades of light orange which would brighten up any outfit! The pretty summer cami top in a beautiful peach shade and the suede orange heels are gorgeous. They are both perfect for a summer night out, however, if I was wearing this outfit in the day I would probably wear some pretty ballet pumps or wedges in a nice neutral colour. With a subtle hint of orange, the aztec coin necklace would tie in perfectly with the other items. I am really loving this style of necklace at the moment!
My favourite piece in this selection is the Zara jacket. I have always been a fan of Zara jackets and this one in white would go with so many pretty spring and summer outfits. I also think for the price it is quite reasonable too!
I always need a nail polish to finish off any outfit and this delicate shade from Essie  called "a crewed interest" is great. I am yet to try an Essie nail polish so I think I am going to give this one a go!
What do you think? What are you currently loving at the moment? I hope everybody is having a lovely week!!

Outfit! H & M Shirt

I went shopping a couple of days ago and as the weather has been beautiful recently, I wanted to buy a few summer pieces to renew my wardrobe! I absolutely love collared shirts at the moment, and picked this sleeveless one up in H & M! It has a beautiful lace detail collar in a bronzed gold colour, which adds really simple detailing! I really like the slightly off-white colour of the shirt and the silky fabric, which makes it look much more expensive than it was! At £14.99 I think it was a great bargain! I teamed it with a pair of blue jeans, tan handbag, gold and white bracelet and gold beaded sandals!

Wish List

As it's my birthday in a couple of weeks, it got me thinking about my current wish list...

1. Laura Mercier Finishing Brush
2. MAC Lipstick - Watch Me Simmer
3. Topshop Make-Up Bag
4. Dogeared Reminder Angel Wings Bracelet
5. NARS Blush Bronzer Trio
7. Tophop Animal Petal Scarf

I used to have the Laura Mercier finishing brush before I lost it and haven't got round to replacing it yet! I absolutely loved it and definitely miss it as one of the staple brushes in my make-up bag. I find it perfect for naturally blended bronzers and blushes.

I adore coral coloured lipsticks at the moment especially this one by MAC, from the Shop MAC Cook MAC collection, in the shade 'Watch Me Simmer'. I love the formula of MAC lipsticks and can't wait to get my hands on this gorgeous shade.

I never get round to buying a new make-up bag, however, I am in desperate need after having my current one for ages and I love the studded detail and pastel coral/pink colour on this one!

Next up is the beautiful bracelet from Dogeared. I love the  design of this bracelet, and along with the other ones in the make a wish range, it it is beautifully delicate and pretty! This one is from ASOS and they also have a range of others there too which are just as nice.

When I saw this NARS blush bronzer trio I was amazed! At only £39.00 it has three of the nicest NARS products in one easy transportable case to make for a flawless complexion! In the set is the Orgasm Blush, Albatross Highlighting Blush Powder and Laguna Bronzing Powder.

The eyeshadow palette is from Chanel, in the colour 'spices', is gorgeous and I think it will go nicely with my complexion with a mixture of coral and pinks perfect for this time of year! Finally, I love this scarf from Topshop - its pretty and has a nice collection of colours, including lavander which I love at the moment!

What's on your wish list? Do you love any of these products too?

My Spring Favourites!!

The spring weather is finally here and it means its time to buy some new pretty outfits!

Here are a few of my favourite pieces and trends this season...

Jacket: Topshop
Bag: Mulberry
Shirts: Zara
Jeans: Zara
Shoes: Topshop
Skirt: Zara
Nail Varnish: Nails Inc.

I love the style of the topshop jacket, it is a great mix between smart and casual with a lose fit and blazer style lapels. The colour is so pretty too - perfect for spring!

I looove embellished collars on shirts so the sequined one from Zara caught my eye as soon as I saw it, and the colour is so delicate and lovely. Floral prints are in this spring and the shirt from Zara is just beautiful! The peter pan collar is also really cute and the sleeves are perfect in this weather.

Choosing my favourite coloured jeans was difficult as I love them all at the moment, but these baby pink satin ones from Zara are gorgeous, girly and go with loads of outfits. The skirt is also from Zara, and again, with a different floral print and bright colours it looks perfect now.

I think both of the pairs of heels are to die for in these beautiful and girly pastel shades. The only problem is that I would struggle to keep them clean, but they would look lovely! The nail varnish, in the colour Haymarket would brighten up these outfits and help complete the look.

I could pick so many pieces from Zara and Topshop this season in floral, pastel and Aztec prints.

What do you think - what are your favourite spring trends?

Outfit!

I spent the afternoon with Friends in London yesterday and thought I would write about my outfit for the day!

I wrote a post about my new Topshop bag on Friday and here I teamed it with my Topshop Ambush boots! I know the colours are slightly different but I think they compliment each other nicely and they both go with every outfit! The boots are my footwear of choice at the moment as they are soooo comfortable and stylish and I love the colour, the only downside is that the side zips often come unzipped after a while of wearing them!

The jeans I am wearing are Topshop Moto Leigh Supersoft jeans. I think these are great as they are really light wear and a nice bright blue colour! I hate jeans that stretch or get bigger when you wear them and these don't do that which is great!

My black chiffon shirt is from Zara and it is my favourite piece in this outfit!

The gold studded detail on the collar makes the shirt stand out and is what I love most about it! It gets gradually longer at the back which I find quite flattering, it is also really well made and the material is lovely! I am also wearing a black vest underneath, again from Zara, and I would recommend these to everyone! If your looking for one, these are excellent - and cheap! They fit perfectly are a really smooth material that doesn't go out of shape at all after you've worn it!

I know this outfit is quite boring, but I think it works well together and is so easy to wear!

Topshop Bowling Bag

My most recent purchase and I loveeee it so I thought I would share it with you!

This bag is new in Topshop this week, I saw it on the website and as soon as I saw it was avaliable at my nearest shop I went to have a look and couldn't resist!

The pictures make the bag look slightly more orange toned than it is - I wish it was this colour- to match my Topshop Ambush tan coloured boots but it still compliments them nicely!
Firstly, I love the shape of it, it fits everything I need into it with loads of room left, but I don't think it looks too big on my arm.

I also love the detailing on the bag; the luggage tag, zip on the side, cross-body strap, studs on the underneath and gold metal detailing. I think it makes the bag look much more expensive than it is (its only £36!!) and I have had lots of comments saying this! The inside has the usual useful pockets and is lined with a cream material whilst the outside looks like real leather!

I think its a great practical purchase as it will last ages and the colour means it will go with every outfit!
